Baron 1906.png

This 210-page photo book tells the incredible true story of Baron Nicholas von Poppen—and the flying saucers. Along the way, it may change how you look back on the 20th Century.

With hundreds of photographs taken by the late baron, these images trace his early days in service under the last tsar of Russia through the years he wandered in Mexico, capturing some of the earliest color photos of daily life across its cities and countrysides.

Previously unpublished, these pictures show a life uniquely lived. Backed by years of research, clues begin to emerge of a dark, private truth buried deep inside one of the most fantastic lies of our times.

Premiere Edition—with a special appendix of even more never-before-seen photos from the baron, covering the earliest days of World War I, the celebration of Estonia’s freedom from Russia, Mexico from1940-1941, and Los Angeles in the early 1960s.
